Jim Kaveney is all heart. As the youngest of nine children in an eleven-member household in Erie, Pennsylvania, Jim learned at a young age the importance of balancing work, life, family, and faith. Growing up, he sought understanding and solace in forces greater than himself, a quest that has influenced his personal and professional journey.
Jim's Story
Jim is well-versed in the sciences, holding several degrees in biology and a master’s degree in organizational leadership. With over 20 years of experience in the biotech, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries, he has honed his expertise in areas such as oncology, infectious diseases, market access, account management, engagement, and behavioral modification to enhance sales force effectiveness. His specialties include product launches, data and analytics, and mobile learning platforms.
Jim’s innovative spirit shone brightly when he and his wife, Lisa, founded Alkemy Partners, a pharmaceutical training and digital engagement firm in Amherst, New Hampshire. In just eight years, the company was recognized for its rapid growth and innovation by being ranked in the Inc. 5000 in 2019 and 2020. Alkemy Partners, one of the fastest-growing Learning and Development Agencies in America, was acquired by Eversana—a leading life science services company—in 2020.
From 2020 to 2023, Jim served as Vice President of Training Solutions at Eversana, where he developed and implemented a customized learning journey aimed at enhancing competencies, increasing proficiency, and maximizing the return on investment in learning and development. During his tenure, his focus shifted towards mindset training and the psychology behind pharmaceutical innovation, patient advocacy efficacy, and holistic wellness training.
Jim’s journey is not just one of professional accomplishments but also of mental and physical struggle. As an AFib cardiac patient, he underwent multiple procedures and had a pacemaker implanted in December 2019. Despite these challenges, he continued to run his business, often dealing with cardiac episodes while managing and ultimately selling a growing company—Alkemy Partners. Throughout this period, Jim found it difficult to locate or rely on holistic resources for himself and his family, a struggle that profoundly shaped his outlook and ambitions.
In 2023, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Jim left Eversana to embark on a new venture that merged his personal and professional passions: Unlimited Heart Health and Wellness. This initiative is a testament to his journey as a cardiac patient seeking innovative solutions for his own care. Jim is now dedicated to providing a platform for other patients to find care solutions and engage in meaningful discourse. Drawing on the support he received from friends and family during his cardiac journey, he is curating an online community for those supporting AFib patients in their own lives.
